Plant ID please

I saw this tall plant in a herbacious border in Dublin and wondered what it was? any ideas much appreciated

    Looks like Cephalaria gigantea (giant scabious), but yours is doing much better than mine!
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • I saw it in the botanic gardens in Dublin and thought it looked great - this was back in May - I just went back the other day to collect some seed from it!

    Its easy from seed.

    Sometimes too easy. I looked after a garden which was overrun with it. It sends down a great thick tap root like horseradish.
