Grape vine pruning

Can anyone advise me on pruning my grape vine.

If there are any grapes on, you summer prune off any shoot more than two leaves after the grapes. When the leaves are off , you hard prune it back to the main shape, leaving a couple of buds for  fruit formation.

Slightly relevant....we have a swarm of Ivy Bees in our allotments poly which contains a grape vine.
