Lady's smock plugs

guttiesgutties Posts: 224
I bought some cuckooflower plugs for planting in the wet part of my garden.  Being conscious of the time of year it is now should I plant the plugs directly in the ground or should I plant them into small pots for the winter?
I'd prefer to put them directly into the ground now, but unsure if that is OK given we are almost through September now.

I would plant them now. The roots will continue to grow while the weather is still warm.
