    Hello Clip. Its Datura stramonium or Thorn apple. It has got several names including Jimson weed.

    Thank you! No idea where it came from. See it is poisonous so have got rid of it as young children around!

    Presumably it's been poisonous all the time it's been there. Why would they suddenly start eating it now?
