Discovery apple tree

I am looking for a good apple tree for use as a step over  would a discovery apple be ok for this way of growing.

Yes, Discovery will work fine as a stepover but it does need to be on dwarfing rootstock, like M27.  I think Chris Bowers have 'stepover' options.
