Flowering cherry

Hi all, it's youngest daughter's first wedding anniversary this month. I know it's traditionally paper so thought I would buy them a tree for their new garden. 
She loves flowering cherry wants a pink variety and as garden is huge size no problem. Any suggestions?

Just a slight problem ....Prunus Tai haku.....is gorgeous...it is  known as the great white cherry...the flowers are white.

What about Prunus autumnalis rosea?
 Dainty pink flowers on bare twigs in winter before the other cherries.

Eek @Silver surfer - I'm a plonker and didn't read the OP's pink variety need. Great that you spotted it!

Sorry about that hiccup Debs. Another beautiful pink one is Kanzan.

She has seen one, Ben something? in a friends garden spring flowering pink flowers. Most of label fallen off unfortunately

I don't have any first hand experience but mature species of Pendula Rubra look rather dashing.

Kanzan is THE classic blousy pink cherry you see everywhere. It has large funky bllooms that cover the whole tree. Other varieties are great too of course

The trouble is that one strong wind and poof! Pink snow everywhere. I still love them though.
