seeded garden growth not good

hi ppl I just wanna start by saying I'm no expert..i seeded my garden 1half ago results wasent good grass died so I scarf the dead grass off and started again 2nd time around things started all good but I've noticed some parts are starting to thin out I've not mowed yet as I'm waiting for the grass to reach the correct hight but I just don't know what's going on I've seeded more than enough seeds prep was as it should be please can someone help I'm at wites end the seeds I bought were sertified seeds thanks for any help

    Mow it on high. That will encourage grass to thicken up from the base. Mow it a again a week later. Then I would add more grass seed to any bald patches.

    just reply pal I've just mowed on 4cm setting on mower and these are results
  • looks like to land below the lawn is uneven, the high bits are getting scalped and the low bits are left too long,
    you need to either reduce the high bits, by lifting the turf and removing some soil or fill in the low bits with sieved topsoil and seed over the top.
