I have been given a small shrub by my GC for nothing as it had not pot abut The Lad didnt know what it was
Stands 2 foot tall
Stem is a bit woody like young Lavender
Leaves are small and oval and are clumped together in 10,s
The flower itself is about 2 " long and sticks straight out from the woody twig in bunches of about 10
It has a 1/4 of a trumpets rim at the bottom and at the top is a small sticky out bit
Looks like a train with a snow plough on its front
I dont have a camera ........sorry
I do realise this is a challenge but i would like to ID it so I can care for it properly
IS ANYONE STILL GETTING THAT ANNOYING POP UP FROM IMMEDIATE SOMETHING ?

They are mid red and it looks like an evergreen ie it will carry on as a Shrub and not fade away as a Flower
No thorns
The flower head looks like the road runners side head view.....this is not a joke !!
I walked the 2 miles back to the GC and its a Salvia Wishes series...perenial
