Saw this lovely plant in a garden today but have no idea what it is.Roughly 4ft tall,large leaves,black stems.Any one know what it could be please?

That looks like a Clerodendrum Bungei shrub.

That's the one!
I see it is a bit of a thug in the garden so I will steer clear of it and just admire it in someone elses!!!
