2.5 - 3 metre trees

Hi

I am looking to get some tree's to go along the back of my garden.  I would like evergreen trees or something that provides some privacy all year round.

Can anyone recommend which trees I should go for?

Trouble with trees is that it will take years to get to that height, or cost hundreds to buy. Holly is good as you can get variegated nice for colour and birds. Trees that have been shaped to be boarder/privacy are more expensive but a local tree specialist would help there depends on where you are as to how far you would have to travel. Down south seems to have most choice if in UK.

Evergreen trees tend to not do that well in UK climate unless you live somewhere quite sheltered. Where are you based and what type of soil do you have.
