National Collection of plants

Just for fun!...

If you could hold a National Collection of any plant what would you choose? 

I think mine would be either Alliums or Echinacea.

I think about 170 varieties. 
I have over 1,000 plants in my polytunnel which all need splitting now.

For myself Aquilegia I think would be high on my list. I love bleeding hearts but there only seems to be two, can hardly call that a collection.😀

@Vegplotmummy please may I have the Echinacea and you can have the alliums. I've just planted my first this year and I love them so I've now planted my second and third. I have seeds on order too....

ETA and now I've ordered some jumbo plugs too. Look what you've done!!!!

I seriously thought about creating a Ligularia collection as , the last time I looked, there isn't one.

I don't envy you having to split that many plants! 😯

I did a tray of aquilegia seeds and only 1 germinated! 😂
