Sunflower split in 2

Hi all. I planted some Copper Queen sunflower seeds and on 2 of them the first leaf was cup shaped. The cup then split and 2 stems started to grow. Both stems are over a metre all and they've both flowered now. I also have a Copper Queen that's normal. Is this normal for Copper Queens?

I've no idea what's normal but all of my sunflowers have been doing weird things this year
