Grass ID please.

I must have grown them from seed, they are strategically placed at intervals in the flower bed, not a clue what it’s called, anyone know.

    Yorkshire Fog?  Holcus lanatus.  That has purple seedheads.

    It looks like that, I definitely didn’t buy those seeds Obe, so can only assume I picked them up from somewhere!  ;) 😊

    Looking at these seed heads close up, I don’t think it’s that.  I’ll look later, in a few weeks.

    I don't think it's Yorkshire fog, that's much softer looking and earlier flowering
    I have something that looks like this and came from nowhere, I thought it might have come from birdseed but have never had a satisfactory ID

    Did you give me the seeds, Nut?  The fact that there are 3 evenly spaced around and it’s hasn’t spread, just lead me to believe I’ve planted them intentionally.
