My Pieris is strong but unbalanced. Any advice please on how I can make it symmetrical. Thanx

    Judicious pruning will help. Mine do better in slight shade.

    I'd cut off those lower stems on the left to balance it up. Pieris loves to be pruned at any time of year

    It does look a little unkempt ... I think I'd take the bull by the horns and repot it in fresh ericaceous compost and then, next spring after flowering I'd cut the whole plant hard back ... you'll end up with a much more handsome and balanced plant.   Pieris can take quite a severe chop back if you look after them afterwards.
