melon flowers

Hi my first time growing melons and Im having problems telling the difference between male and female flowers. I've looked online but still cant tell these ones apart. Are these all males?

    Courgettes and cucumbers have a thickening of the stem behind the flower; I assume melons would be the same. Yours do look like male flowers. My courgettes produced lots of male flowers this year before eventually producing female ones.  
  • Yes, the female ones have a tiny melon sphere behind the flower and are easy to identify. My plants always produce lots of male flowers before any female ones and even then there are very few females.
