Feeding New Lawn

Hey guys earlier this year a laid a small lawn down but a few months later we have had that really hot weather that has made it patchy in places and a few weeds have popped up . Can i use lawn feed like Evergreen on new lawns to get some green back?.

    In a word - no.
    Once it rains properly where you are, it'll be fine. If you want to hand weed, or spot weed with a suitable weedkiller, do that. 
    Mine looked dreadful [much worse than that ] because we've had a very dry spell too,  which is very unusual here as it normally rains regularly through the summer, but the rain we've had over the last week or two has seen it green up again. It'll come back  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
