Can anyone tell me what this is? It turned up in a pot and I.cant remember planting it!

It would help if the flowers were in focus.
Possibly one of the perennial lobelias, like Hadspen purple. or Lobelia x gerardii
Any chance of a photo of the flowers?

I think Figetbones got it right. It looks like a Lobelia on the second lot of photos, but I think this one might be Lobelia Siphilitica, Blue Cardinal Flower.
