We're in Norfolk and we get a good crop from our Boskoop Glory that we planted here in 2012/13ish. Mind you, they do have seeds so you might not choose those ... we chose them as much for their wonderful autumn colour as for the fruit.
I'm sure there are seedless varieties that would suit your area
