    A celosia of some sort?
    Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
    Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

    Thanks Pete Iv just looked it up and it looks like a celosia spicata.

    I used to grow the ordinary celosia as a child, the bright colours and texture of the plumes fascinated me. I really should try them again (after about 50yrs)
