Tree identification

Can anyone help identify this tree for me? It seems to me it is Japanese in a style and the branches all fan out horizontally from the trunk. I’m not really sure how to prune it either - it’s such a beautiful shape but beginning to look a little unruly. Thank you

Lovely small white flowers in clusters, (vaguely like cow parsley flowers).
