Can someone please help me identify this shrub in my garden

    That looks like a Firethorn, Pyracantha shrub.

    Pyracantha, berries usually turn a good orange, red or yellow but I'm not optimistic for good berrying this year with the weather we're having.

    I think Borderline has nailed it sabeeha. I had to look closely before I spotted the thorns in your first picture. Those berries will turn red, yellow or orange depending on what type of pyracantha you have.

    Oh yes, I can see them now - I didn't even see them before.

    I usually notice the thorns when the blood starts dripping :( That one is vicious but the berries are lovely and good bird food
