Malus?

I believe that this is a crab apple tree?  If it is I'm not sure what I can do with the fruit as it is now laden.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

    looks like it. The fruits will smell like apples even if they're barely edible, have a sniff. Some are quite useful, others more ornamental

    I guess jelly is that main thing people make with the fruit.

    You can make Crab apple wine too!

    And of course, any you don't use will be wonderful food for the birds and other wildlife this autumn.  :)
