Fuschia's die on me, Cause?

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but all the fuschias i grow suddenly die, year after year. What happens is that they look fine, they flower, then kaput - they start loosing all their leaves and die. I am growing all sorts of greenhouse, hanging basket types. I have a fuschia standard which is currently going the same way - I water regularly and some are outside and some in the greenhouse. The leaves dry up and that's it - hasta la vista baby

Any ideas as to cause.

    To much sun or not enough water is usually the reason

    I grow all mine in the shade on the north side of the house.   They only get direct sun very early and very late and then only close to the summer solstice.

    They like a shaded-semi shaded position like B3 says, lots of feeding too. Do you have fuchsia gall mite in your area? Spider mite from being in gh?

    Ah that must be it - too much sun. I shall put the standard in the shade

    Kinf Folks : Do you think my leafless Fuschias can be given CPR?

    If it's green under the bark, they'll probably be ok.
    If it's not, don't give up on them, they often produce shoots from the base.
    If nothing happens by late spring next year, they're dead.

    Hi ZeroZero1. There was a similar thread dated 2.2.2018 headed "Fuschias". Not sure what time of year you think your fuchsia is dead but if it is at the end of the season when all the leaves have dropped off this is normal. Have you left them at any time for Spring to arrive to see if they recover? I have a hedge of fuchsia and in Winter you would think it was dead with no possibility of recovery but sure enough come Spring it will start again and today mine is covered in flowers and bees. Hope  this is the case with yours.  :)
