I planted these 2 plants back in April...............no sign of a flower appearing........large leafed........anyone any idea?  I know they are not a weed as I have five more pairs of them in the garden.  Probably a perennial.........

Hi Mary370. Its quite difficult to tell what your plants might be but my Himalayan cowslips (Primula florindae) have leaves that are very similar to those

Thanks LB but I think the leaves are too big for primula.........another pic showing size......with a 12 inch ruler.......

Gosh yes, Mary, way too big for a primula. What about alkanet - before they show their spotting or comfrey?? They could also belong to a big campanula such as latifolia. You need nutcutlet to come along - she's fantastic at identifying plants.

It was Honesty..............forgot to take pic of it in flower, just finishing now.....seed pods are developing.  Will I be able to use these seeds for next years plants?

    Yes 👍

Id sow them as soon as they’re ripe.
