If you can supply it with the following conditions, year round, then yes.
Turmeric
(Curcuma longa) (
/ˈtɜːrmərɪk/
)
[2]
is a
rhizomatous
herbaceous
perennial
flowering plant
of the
ginger
family,
Zingiberaceae
.
[3]
It is native to the
Indian subcontinent
and
Southeast Asia
, and requires temperatures between 20 and 30 °C (68 and 86 °F) and a considerable amount of annual rainfall to thrive. Plants are gathered annually for their
rhizomes
and propagated from some of those rhizomes in the following season.
Apophthegm - a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

Thank you for the reply I will give it a go and see how long I can keep it alive. After this hot summer I expect a freezing winter!!
