Credit where it's due !

Despite their usual prolific exaggerations regarding the weather , for once they got it right !
Back in June the Daily Express stated that this infernal dry spell would last into August ; looking at the long-range forecasts they seem to be correct .

We've had nothing now for nearly nine-weeks , now it's affecting my job ; very annoying !
Planted over a thousand pounds worth of perennials during late May for a large estate in the Lincolnshire Wolds ; we havn't the time to constantly maintain them as so many other jobs are 'lined-up' ; due to visit this week so I hope they're all OK !

It's just a headline to sell more newspapers.
They come out with the same massively exaggerated  'forecast' for every summer and winter - law of averages says it's bound to come out true once in a while

I agree with Pete, if you make enough predictions you're bound to be right sometimes

Our forecast goes up to aug 4th,no sign of rain. We did get a trickle in the butts on Friday night, not enough to wet the garden though.
