Cucumbers

Just something I found by accident. My cucumber plants were eaten to the ground by slugs, despite every usual attempt to deter them. I was handling tomato plants, and the smell of the leaves was so strong, I thought I'd plant a tomato in a pot with a cucumber. It has worked really well. My granddaughter picked 3 tonight and sat and ate them with her daddy, and there are at least 8 more coming! Definitely worth trying. I know I'll be doing it next year. And the cherry tomatoes are almost ready too.
