I grew this from a hard black seed from Kirkcudbright in 2008. What is it please ?

It looks like a tree peony.
Googleimages of tree peony seed pod, and see if that looks like the seed and its pod.

Thank you. I will investigate further. It has never flowered so it’s difficult to be sure.

A photo on Google of one at Holkham Hall Norfolk seems to confirm it is Paeoni delavayi v. lutea. A yellow flower. Think I’ll pop it in a border and pamper it a bit. Thanks for the leads.
