What is this?

We were given a small plant 3 years ago and told it was night scented stock. its grown well and does give off a wonderful fragrance in the evening but when we googled night scented stock it looks nothing like the pictures.

    It looks like a wallflower to me.........beautifully scented, usually biennial or short lived perennial.  It is not night scented stock.

    Could they be Lychnis Coronaria 'Alba'? Can't see the plants well from the picture. Have you got two plants in the container? Not sure about scent.

    By the seed pods and leaves I would say they are stock 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    I agree with Lyn & Loraine3.  You can grow the single-flowered ones like yours from seed, if you want more.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
