A few problems with blackcurrants, scorching?

I don’t know if my blackcurrants are ready, I think they are normally a bit bigger, but Mr. Blackbird has made a move, so I had better make mine.
One bush, I didn’t notice at the time, but I think the last storm took about a third of it out, and the branches were laying on the floor withering. I have cut these out.
This has exposed the remaining fruit to the sun, and the berries look scorched and brown, just on the south/west side.
should I use these as normal for jams etc are they ok? or leave them on the bush for Mr Blackbird? (though he looks fat enough to me).
