    Yeah its a chinese grass

    Miscanthus sinensis is also known as chinese grass  is that what you have or lemongrass you use in cooking?
    Sorry for asking more questions but is this a plant you bought, one you divided or someone gave you?
    I ask because you divide grasses in the spring.

    Yes i brought it 2 weeks ago its the miscanthus sinensis strictus grass

    Its not the right time to plant a grass and it might recover next year as you are unlikely to get new growth now.
    Was the root ball soaked in a bucket of water before planting.
    Plant at same level it was in pot.
    Could get in touch with where you bought it with a photo as lots of suppliers have guarantees.

    Keep it well watered and it should survive. Most of the grasses I've got are browning on the tips in this hot weather.
