Con man laid me dead turf

Is it salvageable ? 😣 I've seeded it watered it 4 times a day as we have heatwave for 1 day am I expecting a change too soon ?

    When was it laid? Have you contacted the person who laid it and if so what have they said.

    He's a con man he's diliberatly left my turf rolled for 5 days on purpose to die because I wouldn't pay till the job was done ..  then moved house yesterday .. can't find him no answer on phone

    He got the turf through his supplier ... I paid for it but been given no recipts nothing so no idea where the turf was from ... probably off a school field 😕

    Did you get quotes, and was his the cheapest?  If this lot fails, you might do better to buy it from a reputable supplier and lay it yourself.

    OK. All you can do is keep it watered and hope.  The far end looks to be the worst with the turf looking like old British Rail sandwiches!  For the curled up sections to have any hope of rooting they need to be flattened.  After a good soaking give them a couple of whacks with the back of a spade to try and level them out.

    Did you keep it watered when it was rolled up?  
    Unfortunately if you pay peanuts you will get monkeys.😢
    no point in seeding mid summer, get some autumn grass seed and do it then.

    250 for turf hardly peanuts and watered the turf when it was down as he out turf in a place I could not get to when rolled up

    How did you find him originally?  Did he come 'highly recommended'?  :/
