Could the amber rose be... Precious Amber?
  • I don't know what it is DimWit, you could be right.  The colour was so vivid, deep orange, we took a fancy to it straight away (even my husband who isn't normally a rose lover).

This deep amber colour is truly rare (in any plant, the more for roses!).

The top photo looks a bit like Rhapsody in Blue.
  • The roses in the top picture were going over, the fierce sun is ruining many of the flowering plants - they are just not lasting so long. Thanks for the name Borderline.
  • The top photo looks exactly like my Burgundy Ice roses.

I have a copper/amber tose called Super Trouper. Blooming in the garden at the moment.

  • It is similar to my rose MM but the centre is more open and blousy, your rose is more compact.  Thanks for the suggestion, it is a pretty colour too.
  • I don’t think the first one is rhapsody in blue it’s too pinky red, I’ve got rhapsody in blue and it’s more purplish pink.

I agree with @Chocolate Sprinkles , the first one looks like Burgundy Ice. Just a very faint fragrance?
