Project updates please.

I would love to hear and see updates from queries you have bought to the forum. The disasters as well as the triumphs (we learn from both). Have you planted the recommended tree, built the raised bed, laid the path, erected the pergola, populated the pond? Before and after shots would be great too. I find myself wondering about all the projects that come to the forum and wondering how everyone is getting on. It's all so inspiring and generous-hearted stuff, so please do share.

By bumping the original thread or just posting in this one? I've been meaning to update a couple of threads once I get around to remembering to take photos.

I asked about repotting lithops and decided to risk separating the clumps as they were too tricky to water in the soil they came in. A month later and they're all doing well so far apart from one which I think lost too much root.

I asked about transplanting a scots pine http://https// but the weather has been too dry so I spoke to the builders instead and they're working around it until we get wetter weather or until it gets in the way and has to be moved.

Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people

You too, Fire, would love to see some pics of your garden, you seem to pack a huge amount in! What happened about your ‘replacing paving with decking’ project?

This is my completed rear terrace, I think I posted a WIP pic at some point. No idea what the dog is sniffing. The planting just peeking in the corner is my nascent Oranges and Lemons border, still searching for the recommended plants, going to a big GC on the coast today, so fingers crossed x

Fire, I have been on a majoring building and landscaping project at my Someset cottage. The GW team, you included,  have been incredibly helpful. I will soon send photos of the 'premature' stateges of the garden. I think all of us garenders love to share and learn from each other. Such a lovely community! Would love to have you all around to see and give advice at some point.  I have gadens in Somerset and in Hampstead Garden Suburb (North London). Warm regards, James

    Good question to ask, @Fire!

At the beginning of May, I asked if I was too late to plant lily bulbs or should I keep them till next year, and Dove said if you've got 'em, plant 'em. I'm glad I did...

(Not really a 'project', just a query...)
