Aprisum tree

Hello all.

I recently bought an aprisum tree that was self pollinating and which was planted in a big pot. It flowered in spring but produced no fruit. 

Any advice to make sure it fruits fruits next year?

    Is it a type of apricot? 
    If so, I found some info here

    If there are no bees around, you may need to give it a bit of help with a paintbrush ( or rabbit tail on a stick). Self pollinating means that it will fruit with its own pollen, but it still has to be transferred from flower to flower.
    You don't stop doing new things because you get old, you get old because you stop doing new things. <3
