Common Hogweed ... a wild plant (biennial) with beautiful flowers and seedheads, but can be invasive. As children we gathered it by the armful to feed our pet rabbits and goats.
If you have a 'normal' sized garden rather than several acres you'll probably want to get rid of it before its roots get any bigger ... the hairs on the leaves can cause a sensitivity in some people (nothing like as bad as with Giant Hogweed which is a totally different plant) so long sleeves and gloves might be a good idea.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
