Gladioli not sprouting

Hello, I planted a selection of Gladioli bulbs in large pots last spring. They all grew and flowered but unfortunately, due to the awful weather during the Autumn, I didn't take them out to dry. Also, iveI only got a shed to store them in and I'm not sure that they would have been ok. They should be starting to show signs of life but none of them have sprouted. Are they dead ?? Do you think the terrible winter has killed them off ?? I can't find any advice on the internet. Thanks, hope you are all enjoying the fabulous weather.

All my old gladioli that were in the ground, are about a foot high. New gladioli bulbs that I am planting on a weekly basis, are up after about 10 days after planting. I think yours are dead.  There are still some in the garden centres , often reduced to clear. They will flower this year, even if they have shoots on.
