What is wrong with my rhubarb ?

Hello, I live in central Ohio and I have planted two rhubarb plants on June,10 and now one has some dead spots on the end of the leaves and the other one is doing good but both was bought at a different places, it has been raining a lot here and I have been watering them at night.  The first pic is of the  plant that is doing good and the second one is the plant that is in worse shape just the last couple of days. Thank you

They look OK to me, all plant leaves suffer from wear and tear. Don't pull any until next year; they need a year to get established.

It could be ramularia, a fungal infection.  At least, that is what is causing the red spots that spread and enlarge.  I think something else is damaging that lower leaf.. although the first picture shows red damage at the edges.

Thank you so much for the inputs, would it be ok to mulch with leaves?

Yes.. leaves are great.  I mulch mine with leaves and grass mixed together.
