Plant ID please

There's a huge great clump of the first one. Second one is just one plant, and it's the tall one with pointed leaves and flower buds at the top of the spire. Sorry it's not in focus, didn't have my glasses on! And - oh my goodness! I've just spotted a dandelion clock in the second photo - how did I miss that when I was weeding earlier!!!

    the second one is Rosebay Willowherb  though it may be a garden cultivar of that

    Top one is a lamium I think and second is rosebay willowherb. I've got some lovely lamium this year too, very underrated plant.

    Hoik out that willowherb before it flowers and sets seed..... ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thank you! I didn't recognise the willowherb, not come across that in the garden before. And yes Nutcutlet, it is stachys macrantha. I knew I'd planted it just couldn't remember the name... I used to have a lovely lamium called something-or-other pewter but it snuffed it a while back.
