I planted some wildflower seeds this spring and today harvested a few, I think they look lovely!

Lovely. How did you plant them?

I literally threw them to the wind in the front garden. I saw a lot of green foliage two weeks ago that my husband tried to convince me were weeds that should be pulled up but I said no!
We went away for 11 days and when I came back last Wednesday, this was my reward, and also the look on hubbys face when he realised what he had almost pulled up :)

They don't look as good in the garden as they did though once Hurricane Horace had its way :(

Did you plant them into a bed / into grass?

Just a front border that I had raked over the soil, didn't expect much as they were from the £1 shop and I have been disappointed before with their plants. Hubby says they will come back year after year which he isn't happy about as although they do look lovely, they are a bit mixed in with established plants.

Fab. Congratulations! It looks like you have poppies and campion and cornflowers. I hope they will all self seed freely.
