Fruit tree ?suckers ?sprouts

hey guys. I'm new to gardening and the house I bought 4 years ago has a gorgeous mature garden full of fruit trees. However, over the past week I've noticed what seems to be ?suckers growing in my grass. I'm not sure what they are but they are suddenly growing like mad! I have posted a picture any advice/ help much appreciated !!

You're spot on  :)  They look like suckers from plum/cherry trees to me ... nothing to do really but just keep mowing the grass ... if you cut them down while they're tiny you'll never really notice them ... if you leave them to get too big you'll be left with prickly sticks/stumps in the lawn.

If they're growing in flower beds and borders scrape the soil away and cut them off as close to the roots as possible.  Just one of those things with plum and cherry trees.  :)
