Expanding hosepipe

Has anyone bought an expanding hosepipe. I've had one less than a month and was initially pleased with it but now the inner tube keeps bursting so now is much shorter as I have keep cutting the burst section out.

It's a common experience if this forum is anything to go by.   Most people try them once, then go back to using a conventional hose.

This is my third year of using a Hoselock one without any problems.

    Hi,
They are totally useless imo as they are suppose to expand to 3 times there length which they don't and everyone I know who brought them have nearly all had leaks on the tubing. Possibly the worst invention in years

Mine was great for about a month then started exploding when the inner tube burst soaking me in the process. I've ordered a supposedly  stronger one so hope I have better luck.

Love mine. But one connector broke and it's non standard, so it's a bit more expensive to replace and the aren't any high quality parts I trust to last longer.

I have a Hoselock expandable hose and love it. So much so that I bought a second one. And they do return to the original size when empty. It came in a little plastic box and still goes into it.

I have bought a Hozelock and it is quite wonderful - so light and small. I am being super careful with it, not using the tap on full, not putting any extra pressure on the hose. Fingers crossed.

Can anyone recommend an expandable hose which is not made in China?
