    Picture 1 resembles Hypericum kalmianum ; not sure of Picture 2 , maybe a Ribes of some description ?

    Hmm, maybe it’s a young Hypericum kalmianum. The flowers are bang on but it looks more like an Annual than a shrub. Leaves are much smaller two.
