Wild garlic problems

Claudio CClaudio C Posts: 3
I have planted three clusters of wild garlic in a shady area of the garden with the purpose of harvesting some for kitchen use, however, in just a few days there isn't a single leaf left, everything got eaten up by something....I read that slugs and snails don't like garlic but mine seems to be particularly appreciated by some pest, any idea?

    A gourmand neighbour?
    A rabbit?
They do die down naturally after they have flowered and keep going underground for the rest of the year so all may not be lost.
Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
