Lonicera nitida

Hello
We unfortunately have to remove a large green oak which has been planted extremely close to our neighbour's retaining wall (about 8 feet) and has started to cause damage to it. Additionally it is not very far away from their house and in the longer term we are worried that this may also become a problem and consequently we have agreed to remove the oak. We intend to plant Lonicera nitida along the back of the wall (as there is an existing hedge of this sort that we can join into further around) but want to know what sort of root system this has- is it likely to cause us further problems? Any thoughts appreciated.

It will have modest roots and not invasive, and nothing to worry about.    it will need trimming potentially three times a year when it's upto the size you want.
