I have lost the label for this plant. Can you tell me what it is ? Do I cut the flowers off when they have faded ?

Is it one of the perennial helichrysums? Are the flowers papery?

No idea about helichrysums !. The flowers start as small balls for some time then open to as shown. The flowers are half a inch in diameter and have many petals for a small flower. The petals are rather papery looking close up and by feel.
