can someone help me what is this on my sunflower it all so on my others in different pots and what solution could i use thankyou ,karen

    Did you sow/drop any cosmos seeds?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Bet on a fungus, like purple leaf blister. Don't think you can do much, wait and read what others suggest.

    Possibly a nitrogen or phosphorus deficiency, or possibly cold temperatures that meant the plant could not draw up those nutrients.  It is unusual that your cosmos are happy and healthy in the same pot, and not affected.  You can either wait and see if they correct themselves, or pull them out and replant new seeds.  They will catch up quickly, with the warmer weather.

    thankyou all  to b3 i planted some black poppy seeds and this is whats happening even in my other pots there getting spotty

    YEs. Looks like cosmos to me too.
