Wildlife gardening
I have just found, at least, 6 of these wee things on top of my garden waste bin. Does anyone know what they are and are they friend or enemy. Thanks
One pence piece for scale.

That's great Pauline.
I wonder how many people would see those and assume the worst - before squishing them.....

PF. No it's a 1p piece I dug out of my border to give an idea of the size of the bug.

What l like, is that of all the areas in your garden they could be, they have chosen - the bin lid! Could they have crawled out from inside it ?

Possibly AnniD. I have been opening and closing the bin most of the day, I have left it wedged open a little bit now.
