Worried about a cherry

Bought a cherry a couple of weeks ago, on a dwarf rootstock. Before I managed to get it into a biiiig planter, there were a couple of days where it didn't get quite enough water. Now, we're getting a few yellowing leaves. I don't know if this is something to worry about, or if it's connected to the short period of under watering. But if it is a problem i'd like to catch it early! What do you think?

The picture of your tree looks fine. Even in the nurseries and garden centres, there are holes on leaves and yellowing leaves. It happens. The main thing is to pot them into a loam based compost and plenty of water at this time of year. Keep it watered throughout the summer months. Due to the heavy canopy, water may not get into the root areas, so you will need to water well in dry spells. If no rain for over a week, water in at least a bucket in the evenings or early morning.

Thanks borderline. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it changes.
