I have been given 3 iris', I know they have flowered already. What do I do with them now? I think I remember reading that the corm is kept at ground level? Do they need moist ground?
Assuming these are bearded iris they like to have their corms baked in the sun to ripen it to produce next year's flowers. You need to trim the foliage down by half to reduce wind resistance so their roots can get a hold in the soil. There's some good info here - https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=835

Nice free draining, lighter soil for them Mary Make sure it is a bearded one though - some of them do need moist soil - like the sibiricas and flag irises. Do you have a photo of it when it was flowering by any chance?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairygirl. .......no I don't have a picture of them flowering. .....I get the excess from my mother's garden.......often mysterious and always unlabelled ........but that's OK
